National Express Group announces that the Spanish National Competition Commission have completed their review of the Group's proposed purchase of Continental Auto in line with normal practice, and have passed the file to the Ministry of Economy, for referral to the Council of Ministers. The final decision is expected within the next month.

As announced on 12 July it is expected that the transaction will complete before the end of 2007.
