On Friday 27 April 2007 National Express Group announced the acquisition of Continental Auto, completion of which was subject to approval by the Spanish competition authorities. National Express Group has today received confirmation from those authorities that the acquisition has, as expected, been referred to the second phase of the Spanish anti-trust process. As announced on 27 April 2007, it is expected that the transaction will complete before the end of 2007.
