New "Baby on board" badges for mums-to-be with c2c
12 Jul 2012

National Express train operator c2c has today launched a 'baby on board' badge scheme to give mothers-to-be a more comfortable journey during their daily commute.

The badges will help resolve those awkward occasions when mothers-to-be don't like to ask for a seat, and other passengers aren't sure if it's appropriate to offer.

To receive a badge, customers simply fill in a form on the c2c website and it will be processed by c2c's dedicated Customer Services team of Renae Baker, Carley Maidment and Jonathon Bradley (pictured).

Renae, who is herself eight months pregnant, said: "I know how important it is for mums-to-be to get a seat, and sometimes people find it embarrassing to ask or offer. That's why we're offering official c2c 'baby on board' badges to all expectant mums, so everyone knows where they stand... or sit!"

Expectant mothers can download their badge application form at http://www.c2c-online.co.uk/on_board_trains/safety_comfort/baby_on_board_badge
