National Express Filming Policy

National Express features regularly on TV, newspapers, radio and in feature films. In each case permission for any filming or photography must be granted beforehand by the Communications team.

Each request is considered on an individual basis and has to follow our filming guidelines. We do our best to assist with requests, but always have to consider the safety and operational impact in each case.

For news programmes:

We will make every effort to provide news programmes with access to our buses, coaches and trains and managed-stations where the filming is relevant to National Express. We would ask for at least 24 hours notice where possible. (There is no charge for filming or photography for news programmes.)

For non-news television programmes including current affairs, commercial filming and photography:

We need at least 7 working days' notice to make the necessary arrangements for filming or photography on board one of our buses, coaches or trains, or at one of the stations we manage.

Applicants needs to observe our rules for filming which you can download here.

We have to cover the costs involved with facilitating filming, which includes the presence of a National Express representative. Rates will be dependant on the the nature and extent of the request.

If you would like to submit a request, please contact the relevant communications team to discuss your requirements and then complete a filming request form, which you can download here.
